Laser Stripping

Laser paint & rust stripping

Laser stripping uses a focused laser beam to remove paint, rust and coatings from metal without chemicals, abrasive media or heat warping. It is precise enough to clean a single panel edge or seam, making it ideal for rust repairs, restorations and preparing surfaces for a flawless refinish.

What’s included

  • Rust removal from panels, seams and chassis components
  • Paint and clear coat removal back to bare metal
  • Surface preparation for refinishing
  • Classic and restoration vehicle panels
  • Selective stripping of small, precise areas
  • No chemicals, sand or blasting media left behind

How it works

Our laser stripping process

Surrounding areas, glass and trim are protected.

  3. Laser strip

Paint, rust or coatings are removed precisely, layer by layer.

  4. Protect & refinish

Bare metal is treated immediately and prepared for paint.

FAQ

Laser Stripping questions

All FAQs

Is laser stripping better than sandblasting?

For many automotive jobs, yes. Laser stripping does not warp thin panels, does not leave grit trapped in seams, and can target very small areas. Large heavy-steel components may still suit blasting.

Is laser stripping safe for my car's metal?

Yes. The process removes the coating and corrosion without significantly heating or thinning the underlying metal when done correctly.
