ADAS Recalibration

ADAS recalibration

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), such as lane-keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and parking sensors, rely on cameras and radar aimed with millimetre precision. After a collision repair, windscreen replacement, bumper repair or wheel alignment, Evoke Bodyworks recalibrates these systems to manufacturer specifications so they work safely.

What’s included

  • Forward-facing camera calibration (lane-keep, traffic-sign recognition)
  • Front radar calibration (adaptive cruise, autonomous emergency braking)
  • Blind-spot and rear radar calibration
  • Parking sensor and surround-view camera checks
  • Static (in-workshop) and dynamic (road-drive) calibration procedures
  • Pre- and post-repair diagnostic scans with a calibration report

How it works

Our adas recalibration process

  1. Diagnostic scan

We scan the vehicle to identify ADAS systems and any fault codes.

  2. Set-up to OEM spec

Targets and equipment are positioned to the manufacturer's procedure.

  3. Calibrate

Cameras and sensors are calibrated statically, dynamically or both.

  4. Verify & report

A post-calibration scan and road test confirm everything works correctly.

FAQ

ADAS Recalibration questions

All FAQs

When does my car need ADAS recalibration?

Typically after a windscreen replacement, front or rear bumper repair, collision damage near cameras or sensors, suspension work or a wheel alignment, or whenever a driver-assistance warning light appears.

Is ADAS recalibration covered by insurance?

When recalibration is required as part of an insurance repair, it is normally included in the claim. We include it in our quote and assessment.

What happens if I skip recalibration?

A camera or radar that is even slightly misaligned can brake late, steer the wrong way in lane-keep, or fail to detect hazards. Recalibration makes sure the systems behave as the manufacturer intended.
