When might your vehicle need ADAS calibration?

Calibration may be required after a windscreen replacement, collision or body repair, particularly when work involves a bumper or a part near a camera or sensor. Suspension work, wheel alignment and sensor replacement can also affect how a system is positioned or operates.

The requirements vary by vehicle. We assess what has been repaired or replaced and identify the calibration steps specified for your make and model.

How does calibration work?

Some vehicles need static calibration, which uses precisely positioned targets and diagnostic equipment in the workshop. Others need dynamic calibration, carried out during a drive under specified road conditions. A vehicle may need both methods, or software setup when a component has been replaced.
